Attempts are being made to form a geology group based in Brigg. If this idea appeals, pop along to an illustrated talk by Paul Hildreth called How Geologists Deal With Time.

Paul is general secretary of the Yorkshire Geological Society and the event will be at Brigg Heritage Centre, in the Angel Suite, on Wednesday, May 21 (7pm). Admission free.
