BRIGG MAYOR-MAKING CEREMONY IN THE ANGEL SUITE

Newly-elected Brigg Town Mayor Coun Edward Arnott and Mayoress - picture on Nigel Fisher's Brigg Blog

Coun Edward Arnott was elected Brigg Town Mayor 2014/15 in the Angel Suite during the annual meeting of the Town Council this week. His wife, Lucy, seen here with him at the Mayor-making ceremony, is the Mayoress.  Coun James Truepenny was elected Deputy Town Mayor and Sophie Brumby will be the year's Deputy Mayoress. The Town Mayor's Chaplain is the Rev Barrie Leah. Having completed his year of office, Coun John Kitwood stepped down as Town Mayor and handed over the chain of office to Coun Arnott, his successor.
