Brigg Blog had a very pleasant surprise the other night when we switched on our portable TV in the kitchen and spotted that Estuary TV had appeared on Channel 8. Like many of you we hadn't bothered to tune our set in to Estuary TV when it first started broadcasting some weeks ago. But now, without any effort on our part, it suddenly appeared, as if by magic.
For three hours we enjoyed watching it's fine range of programmes of local interest. Regular Blog followers will recall us explaining that promotional adds for shopping in Brigg had been compiled to appear on Estuary TV - the aim being to attract visitors from a wide area.
Has anyone else in the Brigg area also enjoyed the automatic appearance of this channel on their Freeview set in recent weeks?
