Traffic flow along the A18 in Brigg will be improved when a new high-tech system takes over managing the traffic light sequences later this year.
Giving an update to Brigg Town Council this week, Coun Rob Waltham, who is a member of the cabinet at North Lincolnshire Council, suggested October/November for the improvements to arrive.
This should remove the current annoyance for drivers stopped by a red light on Barnard Avenue when there's little or no traffic waiting in side roads.
