BRIGG GETS READY FOR WINTER

Brigg folk who were out and about early this morning had to deal with a spot of ice on car windscreens. But it looks like things will be even colder tonight.
North Lincolnshire Council, the highways authority, says: Road temperatures below freezing tonight -precautionary route salting to take place from 19:00 hrs. Drive with care."
Good advice we should all heed.
The A18 in Brigg is one of the designated roads treated by gritters. It's also been past practice for gritters from Lincolnshire County Council to come into town along the A1084, Bigby High Road. We wonder if that's going to be the case again during the coming months.
