BANGING ON ABOUT BRIGG BUSES

Seeing an evening Hornsby bus in Brigg - drawing up at the bus stop near the White Horse - left me wondering how many years it is since Cary Lane was vetoed after dark because of cases of threatening behaviour and vandalism.
There were real issues back then with large, troublesome groups youths. But things quietened down and seemingly got back to normal long ago.
You'd have thought a complete return to Cary Lane would save a bit of fuel on the extra journey either side of Barnard Avenue and round The Monument. It would also be a bit more convenient for some passengers, although not all.
Of course it's entirely up to the bus company, or companies, where they operate. But shouldn't someone in authority (police, council, neighbourhood action team?) have a word with the management and ask them politely whether it's time to reconsider?
