BRIGG RAILWAY SURVEY RESULTS

During two hours last Thursday in Brigg,  27 survey forms about the railway station and passenger service were completed.
The following requests/suggestions were among comments  received:
  • More carriages required.
  • Very little signage in town. There is the timetable stuck to the bus shelter on Cary Lane but it has mould on it.
  • The only viable train service would be Leeds - Doncaster - Gainsborough - Grimsby with reinstatement of the station which would serve Doncaster Airport
  • Train service to  Sheffield needs to  enable increased time for shopping in the city.
  • The trains are past their sell-by date
  • Please think about disabled access/prams and pushchairs/bikes/ people with luggage.
  • The station area needs to be well lit.
  • Train times should consider commuters.
  • Will the  Pacer units 142/144 be replaced?
