BRIGG REPLACEMENT IN THE PIPELINE

Every effort is generally made by the authorities to ensure that features within the Brigg Conservation Area in the town centre are preserved. However, there are exceptions - notably this ugly old cast iron water pipe on the side of the grade two listed County Bridge which will shortly be removed and a modern replacement installed.
The design and appearance of the new pipe has been approved by North Lincolnshire Council, the planning authority.
