BRIGG GRANT APPLICATIONS CONSIDERED TONIGHT

Three applications for grants/donations are to be considered by Brigg Town Council tonight.
Brigg Wheelers (based at the Skatepark near Ancholme Leisure Centre, pictured above) are seeking a contribution towards the cost of insurance.
Brigg and District Senior Citizen's Pop-In Centre (Cary Lane) is requesting a grant towards the cost of new floor covering.
And 1st and 2nd Brigg Scout Group is asking for a grant towards the cost of replacing a door at the Scout Hut on Elwes Street.
These will be considered by councillors on the Policy Committee, meeting in the Angel Suite Lounge (downstairs), from 7pm. NOT the main Angel Suite function room.
Brigg Town Council's Planning Committee will meet at 8pm, when applications to consider include change of use for the sale and display of cars at 1 Ancholme Way, Brigg (former Trent Foods site), and advertisement consent to retain a banner at the same location.
Councillors will also consider an application to retain an illuminated fascia sign at Capri Pizza House, Wrawby Street.
Both meetings are open to the public, if you want to go along and listen to the discussions. Entry to the building will be through the rear of the premises (see photograph below).
