ON THE RIGHT ROAD IN BRIGG

Brigg Blog's pothole post earlier this week about indentations in the road on the A18 Monument roundabout was spotted by Coun Nigel Sherwood, Cabinet member with responsibility for highways at North Lincolnshire Council.
He soon told Brigg Blog that repairs were to be undertaken, and our picture (taken last night) shows the potholes are no longer there to dip your wheels in.
This pothole problem had existed for months. So it's good to be able to report a happy ending.

Re the holes in the road - I knew that Cllr Nigel Sherwood would look into them!
Brigg Blog is amazingly good at getting things done, Scribs.
In fact, it like a chip from the Big Society for Brigg folks taking responsibility for the town.

We've all heard of 'Hi-Ho Silver' - the Lone Ranger....have we now got a 'Hi-way Sherwood' - the Road Ranger?
