NO LIKEY, NO LIGHTY - CONTINUED

St Helen's Road, Brigg, is not very well illuminated at the best of times - largely because there are so many trees and bushes in people's front gardens.
However, while strolling along the street last night about 9pm we thought it was particuarly gloomy - before realising there's a street light out of action.
It's about halfway down, nearly opposite Ted Dodd's old house (No 22). It was too dark to read the number on the lamppost. But hopefully this will be sufficient information for Coun Nige to don his Cabinet Member hat yet again on a minor Brigg issue and get the highways folk down to effect repairs.
PS: Any news on sorting out the footpaths in Central Square/East Parade?

There's no need to inform Cllr Sherwood about street lamps, Scribs.
I'm sure he's already very illuminated with every street lamp in the district!
When the odd street lamp goes out around my house, I note its number and give NLC a quick call...repairs are done and dusted within a day, or so.
