BRIGG TOWN FC TOP OF THE TABLE FOR SUPPORT


Brigg Town Football Club's impressive attendance figures have been drawn to our attention.
Statistics from the Toolstation Northern Counties East League show the Zebras sitting pretty at the top of a table showing Club Attendances in Division One.
Brigg's first team are currently averaging 311 for home fixtures in 2022/23, which represents an 18.7 per cent increase on the previous campaign.
The top local crowd so far is 383 for Brigg v Harrogate Railway Athletic on August 20.
The Zebras' average is bettered by only four clubs in the Premier Division at present - the best being North Ferriby's 360.
Overall in Division One this season the average attendance has risen by 4.4 per cent to 166 per match when considering crowd figures from 20 teams.
The 2022/23 campaign began in late July and will finish next March, to be followed by promotion play-offs.
Brigg are currently ninth in the league table showing current standings based on playing performances.
