The funeral service for Keith Smith - the well-known Brigg sportsman and coach - will be held in the town tomorrow (Friday, September 16) at St John's Church (11.30am).
Keith played for Brigg Hockey Club and later became a coach and manager. He also played cricket for Brocklesby Park - being a very long-serving club official.
After Friday's church service there will be refreshments available at Elsham Golf Club, where he was a keen player.
This will be followed by an afternoon gathering of people who knew Keith at the Lord Nelson Hotel in Brigg Market Place.
Many of his former hockey and cricket clubmates will be meeting up to remember Keith and what he contributed to local sport. Read our tribute to him here...
