MOGGIES FOR THE DOGGIES EVENT NEAR BRIGG THIS WEEKEND

Former Brigg & Goole MP Ian Cawsey and his band The Moggies will be performing at a fundraiser near Brigg this weekend.
Moggies For The Doggies will take place on Saturday, August 13, from 4pm to 10pm, at the Mount Tea Rooms in Castlethorpe. View full details here...
We came past the venue yesterday afternoon aboard the No 4 Hornsby bus service and saw a sign outside the venue, advertising the gig, which features other acts as well as The Moggies.
The Tea Rooms are located beyond the sharp bend on the Broughton side of Castlethorpe, if you are going by car from Brigg.
Tickets on the door will cost you £12 - supper included. Assuming some are still available.
This event is in aid of Jerry Green Dog Rescue, Broughton.
Ian - a former leader of North Lincolnshire Council - is a keen supporter of animal charities, as many Brigg Blog followers will be aware.
