The Brigg area is close to an area included in a yellow-ranked warning issued by the Met Office.
Thunderstorms are forecast for Thursday (June 23) between 10am and midnight - particularly during the afternoon and evening.
Storms and torrential downpours may cause travel disruption and even flooding in a few places, the Met Office says.
The area covered by the yellow warning extends north of Lincoln and ends close to the Brigg area.
In the alert issued earlier today, the Met Office says: "The exact location of the thunderstorms will be hard to pinpoint, so the warning area will be kept under review and updated if necessary."
