NEW MONTHLY LOVE BRIGG ARTS, CRAFTS & ANTIQUES MARKET WILL BE A VERY WELCOME ADDITION

Brigg is to welcome a new event with an old theme to the historic town centre.
The Love Brigg Arts, Crafts & Antiques Market will launch on Saturday, July 10.
It is intended to hold similar events every second Saturday or the month, says Brigg Town Business Partnership which represents local traders.
Brigg has enjoyed sizeable attendances at its monthly farmers' markets (organised by North Lincolnshire Council) for more than 20 years - drawing many shoppers into the town centre where the vast majority also visit other shops and eateries.
But there has been nothing held regularly on the other Saturdays of the month to support the few general market stalls in the Market Place. Until now...
The Love Brigg Arts. Crafts & Antiques Market will be a very welcome addition to the town's list of events.
Due to the range of goods on sale, including antiques and paintings by local artists and crafters, such events will appeal to people living some distance from Brigg.
So we are today posting an early preview, to help spread the word through the web and social media under the hashtag #lovebrigg
We will also be asking the Independent Brigg Line Rail Group for valuable assistance in spreading the word among people living in South Yorkshire, North Nottinghamshire, Gainsborough, Grimsby and Cleethorpes, Habrough and Barnetby, who might fancy boarding a Saturday morning train to our station to visit the Love Brigg Arts. Crafts & Antiques Market while also taking a look at other local shops and eateries.
Many local businesses are supporting the recently-launched campaign to improve passenger numbers by displaying A4-sized timetables on their premises.
From early next month, local traders might well see a cash return on the wall and window space they are giving to this cause.
