Neighbourhood consultations for the Brigg Neighbourhood Plan got under way last night (Monday, June 9) when the roadshow vehicle pulled up in York Road, with Town Mayor Coun Edward Arnott in attendance.
Local people had the opportunity to talk about how they would like to see the town develop in the years to come.
Similar consultations will now take place in other areas of town. So why not pop along and have your say?

Hmmmm.....From the snaps, Nige, it seems that there was a predominance of well-intentioned, elderly, grey-haired men attending the event........there, perhaps is a need to involve the younger generation - those who will inherit the town - in the project

Hopefully we'll see younger folk at further roadshows, Ken. All ages can take part, of course. Mums and dads, even grandads and grannies could encourage the younger age group to have their say. Didn't the Community-Led plan team visit schools and youth groups?
