BRIGG CRIME BACK ABOVE ONE A DAY

The number of crimes in Brigg has shown a month-on-month increase.
Figures for April have just been released by www.police.uk
There were 35 crimes during April, compared with 30 in March.
April saw 10 cases of anti-social behaviour, with 8 incidents of criminal damage/arson.
The category "violence and sexual offences"  saw a rise from two offences in March to seven during April.
The area to which these "stats" apply is a one-mile radius of Brigg police station.
April's crime total takes Brigg's average above the benchmark one a day. That's clearly very low when compared to many other towns.
