Brigg folk planning a day at the races will be very interested to learn that Grand
National winning jockey Leighton Aspell is due to be riding at Market Rasen
Racecourse on Sunday. He has three booked rides – in the 2.15pm, 3.20pm and
4.25pm races.

Provan and Dr Richard Newland - the owner and trainer of the Grand National
winner Pineau De Re - have a horse running in the 1.45pm race. That is
Dalmo.
A spokesman said today: "At
present, we do not know if the owner and trainer will be at the racecourse. We
should have a better indication on Sunday morning. However, it’s normal for
Grand National-winning jockeys to take their rides on Sunday, so Leighton Aspell
would be expected to be with us."
