SLIGHT RISE IN BRIGG CRIME REVEALED BY POLICE

The latest monthly crime figures  from the police were released today for Brigg and show a slight increase in reported incidents.
During November - the latest period for which stats are available, there were 41 crimes in the town - a rise of three on October.
Burglary topped the categories, with nine reported. There were eight vehicle crimes, seven cases of criminal damage/arson,  six incidents of anti-social behaviour and five violent or sexual offences.
Main areas for crime were "on or near Preston Drive" and "on or near shopping area" with four each.
Next came "on or near Health Place" (Wrawby Road) with three.
By shopping area they mean much of the town centre.
