BEST-SELLING AUTHOR COMING TO BRIGG


Best-selling women’s fiction author Christina Jones is coming to Brigg to help celebrate the relocation of the town's Library from Old Courts Road to the Angel.
She will be at the the Angel Suite on Tuesday, June 12 at 7.30pm.
Tickets for the celebratory event cost £5. They are available  from Scunthorpe Central Library, Brigg Library and online at www.northlincs.gov.uk/forms/libraries
Christina is renowned for her engaging romantic comedies and lively, well-drawn character depiction.
A lifelong writer, she has accumulated a clutch of awards and nominations: her first novel, Going the Distance, was chosen for WH Smith’s Fresh Talent promotion, Nothing to Lose was shortlisted for the Thumping Good Read Award, Love Potions won the North East’s Pure Passion Award, Heaven Sent was shortlisted for the Romantic Comedy Prize at the 2011 Pure Passion Awards.
She is also the author of Hubble Bubble, Seeing Stars, Happy Birthday and Moonshine, and has written short stories and features for a wide range of magazines and newspapers.
Her latest novel is Never Can Say Goodbye.
