BRIGG TEENAGERS 'GAME' FOR A LAUGH

Brigg gaming fans get on the ball now!
An exciting new event for teenagers will be held at Brigg Library on Saturday, October 15 (1pm-4pm).
The football gaming event features:
* FIFA tournament on the Xbox
* PES (Pro Evolution Soccer) tournament on the Playstation 3
* Mario Strikers on the Wii
* Football table for games
A spokeswoman told Brigg Blog: "Come and share your passion for the beautiful game on the virtual pitch and meet new friends who share your football gaming passion."
In book-lending terms, the library will be closed to the public - it will be just open for this special event.
So everyone is welcome to go along, make lots of noise and cheer for their favourite team. There will be a couple of projectors and big screens.
Tickets for the event are just £2.50 and are on sale now at Brigg Library (tel 01652 657006).
Booking or buying tickets in advance is strongly recommened as numbers will be limited, and the organisers would hate to have to turn anyone away on the day because the event is fully subscribed.

Brigg Library - off Old Courts Road.
