KEEP BRIGG TIDY

Further to our posting about the recent public-spirited Brigg Town Council Spring Clean of the riverside area, a Blog follower has expressed his disappointed at the rubbish “fly-tipped under the motorway bridge” the other morning - some time after the council-organised tidying.
Attaching these images, our correspondent suggests there must be a way to restrict truck and lorry access to stop fly-tipping like this. Otherwise, “this practice is free to continue.”
Our informant urges everyone to Keep Brigg Tidy, and adds: “In response to Steel Yourselves (our recent story about the Atherton Way bridge’s steel sub-structure) the Sydney Harbour Bridge is stamped with ‘Appleby-Frodingham Steel’ which shows the global appreciation for the hard work of Scunthorpe.”
