THIS WEEKEND'S ENTERTAINMENT IN BRIGG BARS & ADVANCE NOTICE OF SPECIAL JUBILEE GIG


Singer Rob Bishop (pictured) will be performing in Brigg at the Woolpack, Market Place, on Saturday (February 5) from 9pm. He covers well-known songs from the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s.
There will be a disco & karaoke at the Dying Gladiator, Bigby Street, on Saturday night, and disco music at the Black Bull and the Britannia Inn, Wrawby Street.
Free admission applies to these Brigg events.
Vocalist Serena Williams will be taking to the stage at Broughton Working Men's Club on Saturday night.
There's a ticket-only family quiz at Brigg & District Servicemen's Club, Coney Court, tonight (Friday).
Tickets will go on sale in March for a special evening concert at the Servicemen's - forming part of Brigg's celebrations for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee (70 years as monarch).
This event on Saturday, June 4 will star The Rag Dolls - paying tribute to Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. There will also be a buffet supper and a disco.
