BRIGG LIGHT SHOW PROPOSED IN REMEMBRANCE

Brigg residents are reminded that the Town Council will be holding its September meeting tonight (Tuesday 28th) on the upper floor of the Buttercross, from 7.15pm. This is open to interested members of the public.
The lengthy agenda includes councillors being asked to approve the purchase of a light show facility for the Remembrance period in the autumn, and also owl/bat boxes for use in Brigg (locations to be announced).
Additional public seating is being proposed, and councillors will consider a grant application from one of the town's well-known community groups.
There will be an update on how Brigg plans to celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee next June after 70 years as monarch.
At the start of tonight's meeting there will be a presentation by Humberside's Police & Crime Commissioner, to be followed by a question and answer session.
