We've just walked down the Old River Ancholme towpath, alongside the old Lild store which is being refurbished and will soon open as the latest B&M outlet in the UK.
The car park has been resurfaced by the boys from the blackstuff and we noted some white lines creating individual spaces, which will make parking much better for shoppers.
These lines are at the far end of the car parking area behind the store.

You're right, Nige.....this suggests that the area will be used for car-parking....albeit, the original proposals indicated that such an area would be restricted to delivery vehicles...Perhaps B&M has been persuaded to revise plans by the good and wonderful...
