Many thanks for taking part in Centrica’s informal consultation regarding the proposed biomass power station at Scawby Brook, near Brigg.
We received a lot of useful feedback about the project and, where possible, this has been incorporated into our plans.
Full details about the proposal and how we have responded to the feedback received so far, can be found at our dedicated website www.centrica.com/briggbiomass
We have now started our formal consultation on the proposed biomass power station and will be holding further public exhibitions during October.
These will be taking place on:
Friday 5th October 2012: 3pm to 9pm – Ancholme Leisure Centre, Scawby Road, Brigg, DN20 9JH
Saturday 6th October 2012: 10am to 4pm – Angel Suite, Exchange Place, Brigg, DN20 8LD
We hope you’ll be able to join us at one of these events to find out more about our proposal and share your views.
Should you require any further information in the meantime, please do not hesitate to contact us, emailing views@centrica.com

Biomass is biological material derived from living , or recently living organisms. Biomass heating systems generate heat from biomass. Biomass boilers burn bark, sander dust and other wood-related scrap not usable in product production. Good information. Thanks a lot.
