FESTIVE FARE IN FEBRUARY

The famous festive song proclaims: “I wish it could be Christmas every day.”
As we near the end of February, Brigg’s Deli Diner, in Wrawby Street, is doing its best to oblige with a Yuletide whopper in a bun.

I may be a bit slow but can you explain 3.00 T/O ?

Is it 3 turkeys per opening ?
3 tomatoes per omlette?

Or is it imperial measurements , similar to firkin, gill or chain ?.

Could it be Take Out?
Or Takeaway Order?

Wot's all the fuss? The Deli operates on the Julian Calendar - Christmas was only a few weeks ago and the staff must be exhausted with all the festivities.

'3.00 T/O' = 3pm Take-off - reminds staff of their promised all-inclusive hols in Spain this Friday!

Maybe the turkeys had a successfull appeal at the EU court of turkey rights and got a stay of execution . Then like the lucky rabbits foot ( which wasn't very lucky for the rabbit ) their luck ran out .
