BRIGG TOWN BATTLE BACK

Brigg Town Football Club shared six goals with Ollerton in Toolstation Northern Counties East Division One when visiting Nottinghamshire yesterday (Saturday, October 1).
The game ended 3-3 with the promotion-chasing Zebras levelling in the final minute to secure a point.
Brigg had a man sent off and then went behind to the only goal of the first half - a penalty. However, there was a rush of goals in the final third of the match.
Fraser Papprill, Kevan Kahoussi and then Josh Batty (90th minute) netted for the Zebras.
Following this away draw, Brigg's first teamers have dropped a place to fifth but remain in the end-of-season promotion play-off qualifying zone.

Brigg Town Development travelled down to Fulstow to meet Tetney Rovers in the Lincolnshire FA Junior Cup. Town kept a clean sheet through 90 minutes and extra time - the 0-0 scoreline resulting in a penalty shoot-out decider which Tetney won 5-4.
Briggensians lost 4-3 away to Glenny's in Division Two of the EC Surfacing Scunthorpe & District League yesterday afternoon. Neil Altoft scored twice for the Brigg team, with Charlie Bradley also finding the net.

Today's Brigg Town Veterans B v Withernsea game is at Broughton Rec Ground.
