BRIGG TEAM PLAYS ITS 'A' GAME TO WIN THE CUP

Pool is a popular indoor sport in Brigg and local league official Iain Anderson has kindly supplied one of his periodic updates which includes news of a cup win by a team based on licensed premises within the town.
He tells us the local league has now finished for the season.
Premier Division champions are Barrow Squash Club; Division One champs, Corn Exchange, Barton; Division Two champs, Nelthorpe, South Ferriby.
The cup was won by the Brigg Servicemen's A team.
The league's annual general meeting will be held on Monday, April 4 in Brigg Town Football Club's Hawthorns venue, from 8pm.
"Any new teams are more than welcome to attend," Iain says. "The cost is £35 for the season, payable on the night."
