The temporary restriction on traffic using the top end of Ash Grove in Brigg continues today.
You can't turn left or right from the A18 (Barnard Avenue) into Ash Grove, although a narrow gap has been left so the rear car park of St Mary's Church can still be accessed.
The alternative route into, and out of, the Newlands housing estate is via the Atherton Way roundabout and Almond Grove.
A long-running contract is under way to improve roads, paths and drainage on this housing estate, begun in the 1930s by Brigg Urban District Council on land bought from a Yorkshire brewery.
