EVEN ON A BANK HOLIDAY THERE'S NO LET UP IN BRIGG

Camera in hand, I followed the cross being carried through Brigg town centre this morning, Good Friday, in the annual Walk of Witness ceremony, from the Methodist Church, via Barnard Avenue, to the Angel.
Sadly, even on a bank holiday, an array of vehicles in the so-called pedestrian area could be observed as the lengthy procession made its way down Wrawby Street, including a people carrier and two vans, all "parked up".
We will be posting many pix of the cross-carrying ceremony and have done our level best to avoid photographing the vehicles. The pix will appear in due course on www.thisisscunthorpe.co.uk and www.briggpeople.co.uk
