Brigg was visited by bus-loads of Mansfield football fans - many wearing fancy dress - yesterday (Saturday, April 9).
The supporters were on their way to cheer on the Stags (as the team is nicknamed) at Scunthorpe United's Sands Venue (formerly Glanford Park) and stopped off in Brigg for refreshments.
Some were dressed as nuns and vicars, and Ali G put in an appearance... "Respek!"
Fans travelled from the Midlands in coaches and mini-buses, breaking the journey to visit Brigg hostelries and food outlets.
This resulted in some unexpected trade for a number of local businesses.
Brigg has seen many stag nights in the past, but was this the first Stag lunch-time?
Promotion-chasing Mansfield went on to beat the Iron 4--0 in Sky Bet League Two.
