BRIGG WEEKEND CLEAN-UP?

It was drawn to our attention this morning that one of the Brigg courtyards is slippery with pigeon droppings and a pile of vomit!
We are sure that if the plan to direct more people along the walkways between Old Courts Road and the town centre is put in place, the powers-that-be will have a clean-up programme arranged so any unsightly mess is removed.
Pigeons remain a problem in the town centre, although things aren't as bad as they were a year or two ago.

Brigg's own community has the solution to the pigeon problem.
Dynamic living creatures require three essentials for survival - shelter - the sense of belonging and food... With humans this can be interpreted as security, Love and appreciation and nourishment.
Without one these components, creatures die, or migrate in search of such essential ingredients of life.
So stop inadvertently feeding the pigeons by littering the streets with ready-made tit-bits that the pigeons can scavenge & eliminate places where they can find shelter ie replace gaps in roofs, which give access to roof voids.
Deny the pigeons just one of these components will encourage them to search for a more favourable environment hopefully some distance from Brigg.
