BRIGG VETERANS PLAY THEIR FIRST GAME AT NEW REC GROUND

The Brigg Hockey Club Veterans' XI played its first game on the new "Blue Astro" floodlit all-weather pitch on Sunday afternoon, January 8, 2017, hosting York. 
he Brigg squad is pictured above, with some first half action pictures below,  featuring Brigg keeper Andrew Markham and his fellow defenders.
Brigg won 7-3 in this Yorkshire Hockey Association Masters' Cup A-Division Group One game.

Having won one, drawn one and lost one of their fixtures, they finish runners-up in the group and now progress to the sem-finals, to be played in March.
