Chris in Brigg Market Place - in town cryer mode!

Oyez! Oyez! Meet Chris Darlington, Brigg’s town cryer for a day.

Bowler-hatted Chris, who does a great deal of commendable charitable work in the district, cut a dashing figure in the town centre on Saturday.

He was ringing his bell and showing off his sandwich board to inform farmers’ market shoppers about the forthcoming Brigg Recruitment Fair.

It will be held in the Angel complex, off the Market Place, on Thursday, March 5, from 10am to 2pm.

Admission is free – all welcome, particularly those seeking employment.
