Mid-table Barnetby United Reserves completed the 2018/2019 season in the EC Surfacing Ltd Scunthorpe & District Football League on Monday evening (April 30).
The villagers' final game in division two was at home to Epworth Colts Blues but Barnetby lost 2-0. The mid-table team won seven and lost nine of 18 league matches.
Brigg team Briggensians finishing second in the table with 12 wins, one draw and five defeats. Briggensians will be playing in division one next season.
Tomorrow (Thursday, May 3) Barnetby United first teamers have a vital home game they must win in the battle to stave off relegation from the top flight.
Barnetby will be hosting Scotter United at the Silver Street ground, pictured above. Kick off will be at 6.45pm. Scotter are second in the table.
