Brigg Blog is pleased have been invited along to the launch at 74 Wrawby Street, which is opposite the Black Bull pub/restaurant.

FROM AGE UK LINDSEY

The beautiful market town of Brigg is home to Age UK Lindsey’s newest charity shop.
The shop in Wrawby Street is the ninth shop to be opened by the charity and is the second in North Lincolnshire – Barton is home to the other.
Money raised by the shop through sales contributes to the provision of services for older people in northern Lincolnshire.
Manager Jackie Armstrong has worked for the charity for a number of years and previously managed the Coningsby shop. She is looking forward to operating in the town.
She said: “Brigg is such a wonderful place and we know Age UK Lindsey will fit in perfectly. "We’re close to the Marketplace and we’re excited about what we can offer the area.”
Jackie will be assisted in the shop by Bethany Auckland, who is our full-time Apprentice and Julie Shaw our part-time Sales Assistant.
Andy Storer, CEO, added: “Since our merger with Age UK North Lincolnshire at the start of October, we’ve been working on extending operations in the region.
“There are lots of older people who will benefit from services we run and our charity shops help fund services as well as being the client facing’ hub’ in local communities. We look forward to welcoming shoppers to Brigg.”
Age UK Lindsey’s charity shop sells many items from a range of clothes, to furniture, books and ornaments.
Donations of items are always welcome and can be brought to the shop. Larger items can be donated by calling one of our stockmen who will collect.
Age UK Lindsey Brigg is located at 74 Wrawby Street.
