The Brigg area local derby clash proved to be a seven-goal thriller in EC Surfacing Scunthorpe & District Football League Division Two yesterday (Saturday, May 1)
Barnetby United Reserves edged out Briggensians 4-3 at the railway village's Silver Street venue.
Nathan Plaskitt (2), Dawid Kotwica and Terry Carolan were the scorers for Barnetby, with Charlie Bradley, Sol Hari and Scott Soulby replying for the Brigg team.
In Division One, Barnetby's first teamers lost 2-0 on their visit to Scunthorpe side College Wanderers.
