ADRIAN GIBBONS MATCH AT BRIGG TOWN FC SUPPORTED BY MANY

 

Family and friends of Adrian Gibbons supported the annual end-of-season match played in memory of the very popular local footballer and Sir John Nelthorpe School teacher.
It took place on Sunday, April 30 at Brigg Town Football Club's Hawthorns ground.
Kick-off was put back to 4pm to allow fans who had been watching Scunthorpe United play Coventry City at Glanford Park to get to the Hawthorns.
From the centre circle, referee Martin North led a minute's applause for Gibby prior to the start of the friendly match between local players.
A raffle was held and all proceeds from the game will be donated to the British Heart Foundation.
