Brigg Hockey Club is to be congratulated for making the final of a national competition.
The plaudit will come from Brigg Town Council.
The hockey club's men's first team lost in the final of the National Vase, staged in London.
During the first meeting of the council held since the big match, Coun Penny Smith proposed that they should recognise the club's achievement.
