The Town Council has considered a request from Brigg Town Business Partnership for funding towards the installation of extra information boards at key points.
Funding options are being looked at and a report will be prepared for councillors to consider in the new future.

Talking about notices.....A VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY, NIGE...
Signposts are needed in the centre to point people to/from the railway station and the football ground now that visitor numbers to Brigg are again on the up.
Perhaps BTC can also benefit themselves in this respect: the BTC's own public information board is situated in some obscure place near the rear entrance into the library/H.Centre facing the Angel Courtyard...
When I have previously raised similarly related questions with past members of BTC , I felt that they had the impression that most folks got information about BTC from Brigg Blog and BTC's web-page..
Indeed, most Brigg folk have never heard of Brigg Blog and/or the web site.....
KISS = Keep It Simple, Stupid...and the BTCs notice board needs to be were it seen by most people..and it could contain cross-references to alert folk to Brigg Blog et al.....
A note about the BTC website, despite a number of request's there is no section about travelling to Brigg either by car or most importantly by Train
