The Angel Suite community venue - overseen by Brigg Town Council and available to hire for functions and meetings - has scored a maximum five-star hygiene rating in the inspection system overseen by staff from the North Lincolnshire authority.
When this news was revealed to town councillors, Coun Penny Smith said it was fantastic to have a five-star "score on the door."
Meals and refreshments are served at the Angel, which has its own fully equipped kitchen.
Premises rated by the inspectors receive blue and gold stickers, usually displayed in doors and front windows of the premises they have visited.
The Angel Suite's prestigious wedding fair in March returned a good profit, with more than 300 visitors through the door before lunch. Very good feedback was received from those who hired stands. Many are said to be keen to return for the next fair.
The diary of future events at the Angel shows that the facility, off Exchange Place, will be quite busy for the next couple of months.
