Brigg Town Council has yet to decide whether to give a grant to the Lincoln and Lindsey Blind Society, following an application for assistance.
Coun James Truepenny suggested they should ask how many people from the Brigg area would benefit.
Further information will be sought before the Policy Committee makes a decision at a future meeting.
