Many people from Brigg and nearby communities will be attending next week's funeral service to be held for Brian Riggall, well-known local businessman and founder of Brian's DIY on Wrawby Street.
Brian had been a popular local retailer since the mid-1960s.
The funeral service will be held on Wednesday (October 5) at St Mary's Church, Wrawby, at 10am, with committal following at Woodlands, Scunthorpe.
People will be meeting up, from noon on Wednesday, at the Jolly Miller pub & restaurant, on Brigg Road, Wrawby, to celebrate Brian's life.
His wife and business partner, Sylvia, died earlier this year.
As many customers will remember him, Brian is pictured above in the town centre shop.
