The Lincolnshire Co-op has opened its latest store in the Brigg area following a £1.4-million investment.
The new retail outlet is situated off West Street, Scawby, and has created 15 jobs.
Products from North Lincolnshire suppliers are among those on offer, including meat from Uncle Henry's at Grayingham and Mr Huda's curry pastes from Scunthorpe.
The Co-op has provided 32 off-street car parking spaces for customers and has planted a range of "wildlife friendly" shrubs and bushes, including Buddleia - a favourite with butterflies.
The official opening took place on Thursday, April 18, and the store is being managed by Chris Wray.
Scunthorpe MP Nic Dakin was among those in attendance, Scawby being within his constituency.
There are already Co-op stores in Hibaldstow and Broughton, but Brigg has yet to be added to the portfolio. Our town had one decades ago - halfway down Glebe Road - in the building now occupied by a pre-school.
