Approval is being sought for 25 new homes within the Brigg area.
Outline planning permission for the dwellings, with access roads, open space and landscaping, is being requested for land adjacent to The Willows, off Barton Road, Wrawby.
A statement submitted in support of the application says: "The proposal seeks to make a contribution towards affordable housing provision. 10% provision is necessary through Local Policy and this is provided through three dwellings on site."
It explains: "Only the principle of development and access is sought to be confirmed through this Outline Application. All other matters including design & appearance of the dwellings would be confirmed under a subsequent Reserved Matters application."
North Lincolnshire Council, as the local planning authority, is now considering the outline application.
