Figures just released for May through www.police.uk show 47 crimes reported with a mile of the police station, compared with 51 during April.
May's 47 crimes fell into the following categories:
- Anti-social behaviour 14
- Violence and sexual offences 9
- Criminal damage and arson 8
- Burglary 5
- Public order 3
- Shoplifting 3
- ehicle crime 2
- Bicycle theft 1
- Robbery 1
- Theft from the person 1
- Drugs 0
- Other crime 0
- Other theft 0
- Possession of weapons 0
By way of comparison, during May 2015 there were 46 reported crimes - one few than last month.
