OBJECTION TO BRIGG HEDGE BEING REMOVED

Brigg Town Council is objecting to the proposed removal of a hedge at 49 Bigby High Road.
Planning permission is being sought from North Lincolnshire Council to remove the existing hedge running and replace it with a concrete post and timber-boarded fence.
Brigg Town Council's Planning & Environment Committee met in the Angel Suite and discussed this application.
It decided the Town Council should object, the grounds for doing so including a loss of natural habitat for wildlife and "it would be an incongruous addition to the street scene."
North Lincolnshire Council will now decide whether to grant the application submitted by Peter Hunt.
