TOMORROW (Monday) sees a funeral service at St John's Church, in Bigby Street, for Pete Altoft, the well-known football goalkeeper with a number of Brigg teams over many years.
The service begins at 10am. Later, friends are invited to meet at the Servicemen's Club, in Coney Court. Read a tribute to Pete here.

a big thank you for the write up for my dad in the telegraph,I've grown up knowing my dad stood out in the minds of people and this has most likely made me to strive to stand out to be my own man and not "pete's son".
